Decimals might seem basic, but they’re a topic many Empower users still discuss and sometimes misunderstand. Here are 5 key things you need to know about decimal points in Empower:

1️⃣ Empower calculates every value with data precision 14, regardless of how many digits you see in the column. That means your values always have up to 15 digits behind the scenes.

2️⃣ To show all 15 digits, right-click the column > Column Properties > set Data precision to 14.

3️⃣ Empower uses all 15 digits in every calculation, no matter what’s displayed in the column.

4️⃣ The numbers you see are rounded according to standard math rules.

5️⃣ If you want to calculate using rounded or truncated values, you can create custom fields with special functions.
