Legend in Chromatogram

When you review your data in the Review window, you can usually see the name of the Channel you’re working on in the top left corner or in the Sample Set Tree.

But for a better overview, I prefer to display the Sample Name directly on the chromatogram.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Right-click in your chromatogram and select Properties
  2. Go to the Legend tab
  3. In the Fields list, open the Sample group and double-click SampleName → it will move to the table on the right
  4. Tick the “Display Legend on Screen” checkbox — now you’ll see the SampleName under your chromatogram
  5. To keep this setting for the next time you open the Review window, go to File > Save Preferences

Pro tip:

You can also add Injection Number, Channel Name, or other useful fields to your legend — depending on what you need for a clear and efficient overview.

Make your Review window work for you and save time searching for info.
