If you need to compare multiple Channels or Results side by side, Empower’s Overlay function makes it easy.

Here’s how:

1️⃣ In your Project Window, select 2 or more Channels or Results and click Review.

2️⃣ In the Review window, you’ll first see only one chromatogram.

👉 Tip: Add a Legend so you know exactly which sample you’re viewing.

3️⃣ Open the 2D Channels tab below for a clear overview – you can adjust the column order to your preference.

4️⃣ Right-click in the chromatogram → Properties → go to the Overlay tab.

Now choose how you want to view your chromatograms:

• Do Not Overlay – shows one chromatogram at a time
• Make Stack Plot – displays all chromatograms stacked in separate windows. Use the Visible checkbox to show/hide channels. Great for comparing samples.
• Overlay in Single Plot – overlays all chromatograms into one window. You can still control visibility for clarity – ideal for comparing your samples with blanks.
  
  

⚙️ Chromatogram Annotation setting:

• All Chroms in Overlay – Integration and Peak Names are visible in all chromatograms (works best with Stack Plot)
• Only One Chrom in Overlay – Integration and Peak Names are visible in the selected chromatogram (recommended for Single Plot)
