🔍 Sample Set contains your raw data: injections and channels.

You can integrate chromatograms (channels), but no integration is saved directly to those channels. Channel is just a raw signal from the detector.

🔍 Result Set contains results – processed channels.

Results are chromatograms where:

• Peaks are integrated
• Components are named
• Calculations are performed

To generate a Result Set, you need to process the Sample Set with a Processing Method or with a Method Set (which includes the Processing Method).

👉 Important: When you want to report your analysis results – you can’t do that directly from a Sample Set. You need to generate a Result Set first. That’s where the final calculations and processed data live!
