I often see Empower users working with regular 2D data in a 3D Layout – without realizing it.

The result? Unnecessary windows and parameters meant for 3D data clutter the Review window, making data review messy and less clear.

Good news – you can easily fix this!

There are two ways to switch back to a clean 2D layout:

🔹 In the Review window:

Go to View in the toolbar → select 2D Layout

🔹 In the Project Settings:

1️⃣ Open Configuration Manager (via Configure the System in the Start Window)

2️⃣ Find your project in the list → Properties

3️⃣ In the General tab, uncheck Photo Diode Array under Enabled Options

Important:

Do this only if you don’t work with spectra in your project and acquire data at a single wavelength.

👉 A simple tweak – but it makes your data review much cleaner and faster!
